One of the top offensive linemen in the country has committed to Boston College. The Massachusetts native said that he knew that Boston College was the right fit all along.

"I always wanted to play there. It was always my first choice. I love the staff, and we have a great class especially in state," said Hendren. He's excited to show the talent that his home state has to offer, and looks forward to competing against some of the best competition in the country.

Some other schools that offered Hendren included Massachusetts, Old Dominion, and Rutgers. Boston College was the hands down choice above the rest.

"I'm excited for the future of BC, I decided against Ivy league schools because I wanted to play in the ACC and compete against the best," Hendren said.

At 6-foot-7, 300 pounds, Hendren believes that his ability to play either tackle should help bring him success at the next level. "I can play either tackle. I play right tackle for our team now because we have a lefty quarterback, but I can play either," stated Hendren.

As one of the leaders of the Dexter football team in Brookline, Massachusetts, he intends to lead them to a great season. "My goal is to go 9-0," said Hendren. Hendren is looking to improve as much as possible by the time he goes to play at school.

"I want to improve every facet of my game. I want to be the best pass blocker in the country. I'm excited to play against some of the best pass rushers in the country," said Hendren.

The big time tackle is determined to accomplish the goals that he's set for himself, and embraces all of the challenges that are to come.
