The Grand Canyon State sees it rankings expand from a Top12 to a Top20. There are eight new names in the state rankings led by new entry Ryan Finley, QB, Paradise Valley. The Boise State commit comes in at #6 in the new Arizona State rankings. Next is  ASU commit and two-way star Nick Brown of Florence, AZ making his first appearance at #8. Huge inside linebacker DeAndre Miller of Buckeye, AZ makes the next entry at #10. The Big Sky Four (Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming) expands from a Top5 to a Top6. You heard it here first as athlete Nate Gerry remains #1 and has now piled on a bunch of offers. The one new addition is his teammate defensive back Chris Parker who comes in at #3 in the Big Sky Four.

California sees its rankings expand from a Top50 to a Top60. Recent USC commit and NUC alum Su'a Cravens remains at #1 in the Golden State. The highest new entry is huge receiver Darrell Daniels of Freedom, CA who comes in at #19. He is followed by hybrid DE/LB Kevin Palma, Jr. of Mission Oak High School at #24. UCLA commit Sean Dowling of Fallbrook, CA who is a long lean athletic offensive tackle comes in at #28. Also making a huge new entry is speedster Chris Seisay of American Canyon High school at #29.

In Colorado there was a big shake up as the state rankings expanded from a Top10 to a Top12 with five new entries. Michael Bennett clone Tanner Gentry makes a jump to the #4 spot in the state. He is followed closely by QB Luke Del Rio at #5 who transferred from Florida to Valor Christian, CO. Del Rio is the son of former Jacksonville Jaguars Head Coach Jack Del Rio. The Rams of Colorado State are already making noise on the recruiting circuit with their new staff by snagging #6 Blake Nowland, OL from Douglas County High School. In the Islands the biggest new entry is DL Scott Pagano of Moanalua High School. He comes in at number #2. Hawaii sees their rankings expand from a Top8 to a Top10 with three new names.

Boise State surely controls their state in recruiting as they snag the only new entry #2 Eli McCullough an athletic offensive lineman from Rocky Mountain High School. The Idaho State rankings expand by one going from a Top5 to a Top6. In the Silver State the rankings expanded from a Top8 to a Top10. Both new entries are receivers from perennial power Bishop Gorman. Ryan Smith comes in at #3 and Jamir Tillman makes an entry at #10. The Oregon State rankings expanded from a Top10 to a Top12. There are two new names led by new entry #5 linebacker Evan Colorito of Beaverton High School.

The Beehive State sees huge changes as the rankings expand from a Top10 to a Top15 with six new names. The highest new entry is Kalei Kauhaahaa a linebacker that just transferred into Juan Diego High School from Idaho. His father is a coach at the University of Utah. Athletic offensive lineman Elijah Tupai of Cottonwood High school comes in at #7. If college coaches have never recruited the state of Washington they need to this year. It may be the most talented year in state history. The Washington State rankings expand from a Top20 to a Top25. Cole Madison of Kennedy Catholic is a TE/OL/DL prospect that makes a huge jump to the #4 player in the state. The key to his success is size, athleticism, and versatility. The highest new entry is huge athletic offensive center Mason Friedline of Kings High School coming in at #10. He is followed closely by Washington defensive line commit Jaimie Bryant of Tumwater High School.

The National Underclassmen hopes to update the rankings two more times before signing day on February 6, 2013. All new entries in the state rankings are denoted by the "#" sign. We hope those who follow the NUC enjoy the state rankings. The NUC Ultimate100's and Top Prospect camp are almost upon us and we look forward to seeing you at those events.
