The National Underclassmen Combine is proud to introduce the first annual postseason West Regional All-American Team. Below are those athletes that have caught the eye of NUC President Dave Schuman and Director of National Player Analysis Barry Every. We have selected seniors that have already achieved great things on the gridiron and are considered elite college prospects at their respective positions.

 

2012 Offensive Skilled Player of the Year-Chase Hansen, Lone Peak, UT*

"Hansen led his team to the Utah 5A State Championship with his arm and his feet."-Barry Every

2012 Offensive Lineman of the Year-Arik Armstead, Pleasant Grove, CA*

"This jumbo lineman led his team to a (12-2) record starring on both sides of the ball."-Barry Every

2012 Defensive Skilled Player of the Year-Shaq Thompson, Grant, CA*

"This Two-way star ran for over 2,000 yards of offense while recording 57 tackles."-Barry Every

2012 Defensive Lineman Player of the Year-Aziz Shittu, Buchach Colony, CA*

This muscular interior lineman led his team to a (12-1) record with 89 tackles and eight sacks."-Barry Every      

 
Offense First Team (*Denotes NUC Participant)
QB Zach Kline, San Ramon Valley, CA* This Under Armour All-American selection passed for 3,630 yards and 36 touchdowns.
RB Chris Brown, San Joaquin Memorial, CA Brown ran for 1,951 yards and 28 touchdowns on the season.
RB Shaquille Powell, Bishop Gorman, NV Powell ran for 2,458 yards and 20 touchdowns.
WR Deontay Greenberry, Washington Union, CA* This Semper Fidelis All-American selection caught 105 passes for 2,108 yards and 32 touchdowns.
WR Bryce Treggs, St. John Bosco, CA* This Semper Fidelis All-American selection caught 70 passes for 1,377 yards and 11 touchdowns.
TE Jalen Cope-Fitzpatrick, Whitney, CA* This Under Armour All-American selection caught 29 passes for 433 yards and five scores while recording 35 tackles on defense.
OL Zach Banner, Lakes, WA* This U.S. Army All-American selection led his team to a (11-1) record blocking for 221 rushing yards per contest.
OL Josh Garnett, Puyallup, WA* Garnett was selected to the Under Armour All-American game.
OL Erik Magnuson, La Costa Canyon, CA Magnuson was selected to the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
OL Kyle Murphy, San Clemente, CA This U.S. Army All-American selection guided his team to a (12-2) record.
OL Arik Armstead, Pleasant Grove, CA* This U.S. Army All-American selection starred on both sides of the ball helping his team rush for 288 yards per game while recording 42 tackles.

DL Aziz Shittu, Buhach Colony, CA*

This U.S. Army All-American selection recorded 89 tackles and eight sacks.
DL Ellis McCarthy, Monrovia, CA This U.S. Army All American selection recorded 55 tackles and five sacks.
DL Jeremy Castro, Vista Murrieta, CA Castro recorded 104 tackles and 11 sacks on the season.
DL Moana Ofahengaue, Westlake, UT This Semper Fidelis All-American selection recorded 17 sacks on the season.
LB Jabari Ruffin, Downey, CA This U.S. Army All-American selection caught 42 passes and recorded 99 tackles.
LB Kevin Davis, 6-2/215, Fountain Ft. Carson, CO* Davis recorded 165 tackles and six sacks on the season.
LB Seth Jacobs, Arroyo Grande, CA Jacobs recorded 151 tackles, two sacks, and two picks on the season.
DB Shaq Thompson, Grant, CA* This U.S. Army All-American selection ran for 1,134 yards while recording 57 tackles.
DB Ishmael Adams, Oaks Christian, CA* This U.S. Army All-American selection ran for 717 yards, caught 29 passes for 476 yards, and recorded 34 tackles.
DB Kevon Seymour, Muir, CA This U.S. Army All-American selection had 46 tackles, five picks, 27 catches, and averaged 34.5 per punt return.
DB Bryan Harper, Colony, CA* Harper passed for 505 yards, ran for 647 yards, and recorded 20 tackles.
ATH Chase Hansen, Lone Peal, UT* Hansen passed for 3,066 yards and 38 touchdowns, ran for 1,404 yards, and recorded 19 tackles.

QB Jeff Lockie, Monte Vista, CA Lockie passed for 3,278 yards and 31 touchdowns on the season.
RB Davien Payne, Citrus Hill, CA Payne led team to (12-1) record with 1,559 yards rushing and 28 touchdowns.
RB Robert Lewis, South East, CA Lewis ran for 2,023 yards and 30 touchdowns on the season.
WR Darreus Rogers, Carson, CA Rogers caught 64 passes for 1,251 yards and 12 touchdowns.
WR Kenny Lawler, Upland, CA Lawler Caught 53 passes for 1,267 yards and 12 scores.
TE Caleb Smith, Kentridge, WA* Smith snagged 31 passes for 457 yards on the season.
OL Jordan Simmons, Crespi Carmelite, CA This U.S. Army All-American selection helped his team average more than 36 points a game.
OL Shane Callahan, Chaparral, CO Callahan helped his team average 181 rushing yards per contest.
OL Joey O'Connor, Windsor, CO This Under Armour All-American selection guided his team to a (13-1) record.
OL Cedrick Poutasi, Desert Pines, NV* Poutasi was selected to be in the Offense/Defense All-American Bowl.
OL Isaac Seumalo, Corvallis, OR This Under Armour All-American selection was a two-way monster totaling 54 tackles and nine sacks.
 
Defense Second Team (*Denotes NUC Participant)
DL Alex Balducci, Central Catholic, OR This U.S. Army All-American selection recorded 68 tackles and seven sacks on the season.
DL Justin Solis, Westlake, CA Solis recorded 102 tackles and seven sacks for (14-1) team.
DL DeForest Buckner, Punahou, HI This Semper Fidelis All-American selection led his team to a (11-3) record.
DL Hunter Dimick, Syracuse, UT Dimick recorded 64 tackles, 13 sacks, and seven pass breakups on the season.
LB Kyle Kelley, Woodbridge, CA* Kelley recorded 87 tackles and 22 sacks on the season.
LB Michael Barton, De La Salle, CA This Semper Fidelis All-American selection recorded 103 tackles and three sacks.
LB Hardy Nickerson, Jr., Bishop O'Dowd This Semper Fidelis All-American selection recorded 153 tackles on the season.
DB Cedric Dozier, Lakes, WA This U.S. Army All-American selection did a little of everything rushing for 291 yards, catching 28 passes, while recording 13 tackles and one pick.
DB Brandon Beaver, Dominguez, CA Beaver was selected to be in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
DB Marcus Rios, Cosumnes Oaks, CA This Offense/Defense All-American selection recorded 59 tackles and four picks on the season.
DB Shannon Edwards, Ridgeview, CA* This two-way star averaged 26.9 yards a catch while snagging eight touchdown passes.
ATH Jaydon Mickens, Dorsey, CA This Semper Fidelis All-American selection had 13 rushing touchdowns, seven receiving touchdowns, and three kick returns for scores.
 
Offense Honorable Mention
QB Jeff Lindquist, Mercer Island, WA This Semper Fidelis All-American selection threw for 1,916 yards and 22 touchdowns while rushing for 584 yards and 12 touchdowns.
RB Oshay Dunmore, Newport, OR Dunmore ran for 2,214 yards and 25 touchdowns on the season.
RB Joe Hansley, Highlands Ranch, CO Hansley ran for 1,851 yards and 24 touchdowns on the season.
WR Jordan Payton, Oaks Christian, CA This U.S. Army All-American selection caught 61 passes for 769 yards and ten touchdowns.
WR Dwayne Washington, Gahr, CA* Washington caught 66 passes for 1,338 yards and 15 touchdowns
TE Evan Bayliss, Grandview, CO Bayliss caught 21 passes and recorded 88 tackles and five sacks on the season.
OL Max Tuerk, Santa Margarita Catholic, CA This U.S. Army All-American selection led his team to a (13-2) record.
OL Ronnie Stanley, Bishop Gorman, NV This Semper Fidelis All-American selection led his team to a State Championship.
OL Alex Kozan, Valor Christian, CO This Semper Fidelis All-American led his team to a State Championship.
OL Brandon Fanaika, Pleasant Grove, UT This Offense/Defense All-American selection was a two-way star for his team.
OL Freddie Tagaloa, Salesian, CA This Semper Fidelis All-American led his team to a (14-0) record.
 
Defense Honorable Mention
DL Troy Hinds, Davis, UT Hinds recorded 60 tackles and nine sacks on the season.
DL Luke Kaumatule, Punahou, HI This U.S. Army All-American selection led his team to a (11-3) record.
DL Pio Vatuvei, Patterson, CA* Vatuvei helped his defense give up just over 15 points per contest.
DL Vaha Vainuku, East, UT Vainuku led his team to a (12-2) record.
LB Aaron Porter, La Habra, CA* Porter led his team to a (5-0) League Championship.
LB Scott Starr, Norco, CA This Semper Fidelis All-American selection recorded 99 tackles and six sacks on the season.
LB Reshawn Hooker, AB Miller, CA Hooker recorded 112 tackles and eight sacks on the season.
DB Chris Santini, 6-0.5/207, Leland, CA* Santini recorded 99 tackles and rushed for over 800 yards.
DB Randall Goforth, Long Beach Poly, CA Goforth recorded over 70 tackles on the season.
DB Cleveland Wallace, Oak Grove, CA* Wallace recorded over 50 tackles and five picks on the season.
DB Rhett Sandlin, Alta, UT Sandlin recorded more than 80 tackles on the season.
ATH Gabriel Marks, Venice, CA This Offense/Defense All-American selection caught 41 passes for 585 yards and four scores while rushing for 226 yards and recording 23 tackles.
