According to his father Kapelieli, wide receiver Junior Pomee of Moreno Valley, CA has committed to play at the University of Southern California.

Rated as one of the top receivers from the class of 2011, Pomee had offers from ten schools including UCLA, Florida, Colorado, Arizona and Oregon State. The 6'3 210 lb standout guided Rancho Verde High School to an outstanding 13-1 record while helping them put up more than 45 points per game.

" I supported him (all along) because he wanted to go (to USC)," said the elder Pomee. "The school is close to home and I told him whatever is good for him works for me.

Pomee will join NUC alum Robert Woods and fellow incoming freshman George Farmer next season for the top rated Trojans.
